I have seen and read reports over the years where researchers tried to figure it out but nothing close to an official source, they stick with the lie. The one report that sticks on my head claimed 1/4 of the country is illegal when you add in people that were allowed in legally but never left. Scare stuff.

One of the big lies they used to perpetuate the 11-12 million number is that most illegals just go back home eventually. BS. When I moved to the western state I live in not very many people spoke Spanish as their primary language, especially in the metro areas, now it’s easy half the population.
