Hi Failure51.

Due to your differing worldview with cosmology and the LGBTQ+, is this a statement which contradict the traditional interpretation?

Remember: Christianity formed AFTER Jesus died. We know that because the main thing that helped form Christianity was the Crucifixion which means that it was formed later.

I well note your point, but how does that point support or relate to the meme above?

The point supports the meme because it is impossible for members of a group to be present at an event that happened before the group was formed. I am assuming of course that they didn't use time travel.

Well a movement always starts an idea with one person; then with a group of convinced persons a movement begins. Do you agree, or do you believe that it began only after Jesus died and then it began to develop into a different animal or strain?

I think Jesus was a social activist who helped the poor and needy and then after his death became a religious symbol

If He is a mere activist then it is a wonder how so much has been attributed to Him. Though it is possible to do so as Siddartha Gautama had been, but not to such a level.

Jesus in the NT is God, the second person of the Trinity; for anyone to preach that invites a death sentence on himself (John 5:18).

The Crucifixion helped make him a religious symbol.

But a jump from a mere activist to God, you must admit, is a bit of a challenge to believe.

Both the fact that his body dissipated and people thinking his mother was a virgin helped. Adding on the fact that there was so much information unknown at the time and we have great grounds for a religion to form.

that is, if that activist claimed that he was Virgin born. I know what you mean about the blanks on Jesus' life which is why some have written stories about Him commonly found in the Gnostic texts, but if He had made no claim to deity and virgin birth, chances are that the followers of Jesus would not have made that extreme jump from mere human activist to deity in human flesh unless He Himself made those claims.

After all, to make such claims about Jesus would risk death.

No one would willingly die for what they know is a lie.

So since nearly all the Apostles died horrible deaths, it is great evidence that what they've said about Jesus is true. That He is God in the Flesh, the only savior of the world who was crucified, died, and rose again on the third day.
