I remember when they first deployed the Patriot missile battery. Some of the missiles were nose-diving into the ground. It was definitely a WTF behavior. We looked at the data and figured out that the missile had plotted a correct intercept course for the missile it was targeting, but the target was so far away that the intercept point was below ground level!!!!!! Computers do *exactly* what you tell them...
