I'm afraid this is this is a difference in worldviews. If we're wrong then I agree with you, it should be stopped. However, if the Bible is true, then the LGBTQ+ should repent. But that is besides the point.

Our opposition to it does not automatically mean that we hate the person committing it.

We hate the sin of murder, bestiality, gluttony, etc; but does that mean we hate the ones guilty of it? No.
