Since I have proof that Minority Leader McCarthy receives that Sakarya & expense account with plenty of footage of him whining about low income Americans receiving any assistance before and during Covid, is now whining about a roll back on the 2017 tax cut for the wealthy. By your reply I assume you’re good letting CEO’s making 300x more than the average wage of their employees. Since 1970 CEO wages have grown 1000% compared to workers gain of 11%. I guess you’re good with allowing large corporations have so many loopholes in the tax code they pay very little in federal tax compared to working Americans who can no longer get tax credit for interest rates on credit cards, personal loans or even their mortgage. Then share holders gain tons of money through the Capital Gains tax. The Republican tax cut specifically for the wealthy lowered from modest 35% to a staggering 25% with these companies “promising” not to but back shares but rather “share” their good fortune with their employees.
A total lie. They didn’t take care of their workers, they took care of themselves.
So my point with your comment is-give me verifiable proof that doesn’t come from Fox News, OAN or NewsMax but from a bipartisan source, a foundation or from a government source that the people who received extra unemployment, extra food stamps and $1800 relief checks have sat on their ass doing NOTHING, unlike EVERY current Republican office holder in Washington who hasn’t passed any NEW legislation except for 2017 Tax Cut & Jobs Act and 2018 The First Step Act when they had the Majority in all three branches. 2 pieces of legislation-
JUST TWO
(Executive Orders, the annual Farm Bill, nor the standard yearly bills such as military, legislative, energy, labor or defense (Appropriation Bills) do not count. So basically the what I said was factual.
Please spare me the debate that because low/middle income Americans received that extra help is the reason that there are so many job openings not being filled because they’d rather sit on their ass doing nothing. If that’s your only argument please read this...
