Trump has had more personally verifiable financial ties to China than Biden ever had. Since before he even ran for office, a bank of China has rented offices in Trump tower to the tune of over a million dollars per year. As we've seen, a country merely needs to threaten Trump with some personal financial loss and he bends to their will.

For all we know, the whole "trade war" with China was just one big fake act to pave the way for China to get out of all their agreements with American companies and strike up a deal with Russia. After all, the end result of the trade war was the leaders of China and Russia shaking hands in a photo op after making a new trade agreement. So yeah, Trump's strings were being pulled by both China and Russia.

Pretty sure the voting machines weren't even on a centralized internet system, so I'm not sure how this is comparable.

The cybersecurity head of the Department of Homeland Security said: "the most secure election in history." They went out of their way to ensure a safe election after what Russia did in 2016. It only takes one time getting hacked (usually) for people to step up their security game. This pipeline obviously had vulnerabilities OR they let Russia in so Putin could put a bunch of people in some sort of crisis enabling Cult45 to run out and create a bunch of bullshit memes blaming Biden.

*Can* be hacked? Sure. Any system can be hacked. Even if it’s as simple as an inside job. All systems have someone who’s an administrator, and an administrator can by definition f**k with things. By design.

But: Did a hack *actually* happen?

I refer you to the statement of the Trump official who said the 2020 election was the “most secure in history” before being sacked for telling the truth, as was common under his Administration and in the modern Republican Party overall.

But — be proud of it! Against everyone’s predictions, the Trump Administration protected our election from Russia, China, Iran, everyone!

I've seen several of these memes lately. I'm not sure the two examples are comparable. How is hacking a pipeline like hacking thousands of voting machines?

I’ve offered some very basic CompSci knowledge here: but truth be told I don’t know, exactly, and they don’t know, either.

Just another “just asking questions” sort of trolling job to undermine faith in the election when the people directly responsible for it said nothing nefarious happened.
