I think you misunderstand the difference between being offended (emotionally), and being annoyed by the intellectual contradiction of the mayo fad. At least speaking for myself, I've never been offended by the mayo condiment, hell, I even laughed at it. However, I was intellectually annoyed because I knew if, say a Native American said something on imgflip and a some poster didn't like it, and further, this same poster happened to make a meme with ketchup saying "made with red tears", that meme would be considered racist but NOT the mayo meme. So for me, it's not "Oh No! Stop with the mayo, my little heart can't take it!" It's more "Will you please be intellectually consistent!"

Trump didn't (and still doesn't) support the lgbtq+ community. If you actually bothered to read the article, you would have seen that he made multiple transphobic laws instead.

Biden, however, has actually helped the lgbtq+ community by lifting the ban on trans people joining the military (that Trump placed previously)

that can show weakness in our army by having trans ppl in if you wanted to join the army you coudnt open ab gay nor straight. i am actually enlisting in the army but im cadet program rn and we cant talk ab anything that isnt what we are doin let alone what we identify as. also trymp gave a reason as to why he did so and i agree with it, most trans people are weak physically and mentally which something we cant have in the military, hell they wouldnt even make it passed basic training

in most of the past, people have gotten burned at the stake for being gay. you could lose your job, friends, and home for being gay. even now, gay people still have to fear about getting arrested or killed for being gay in some places. so them making a few jokes about straight people is different.
