It seems that you are implying that mrna modifies dna. That's not the case. I'm also not confident in a "vaccine" based on research of a company that never got FDA approval for mrna use on humans until the recent emergency approval. From what I understand the "vaccine" is simply telling the body to produce a protein found on the surface of the virus in hopes that it will elicit an immune response wherein the body responds with a protease designed to target that protein. I wouldn't be surprised if this leads to long term side effects like pulmonary and/or respiratory disease because the protein seems to target capillaries. That being said, there is actually no DNA input or genetic modification occurring as we see with typical viral vaccines.

this is basically correct except that it's not a hope (vaccinated people do develop antibodies against covid and about 95% develop resistance to the illness), the mentioned protease is not designed (it's part of the body's normal defense mechanisms), and covid infection itself already leads to long-term side effects in the respiratory system (so it's a known problem of the virus vs. only a conjectured side-effect of the vaccine).

Then why are people with the vaccine still getting covid in record numbers?

i don't know what you mean by record numbers, but there are at least three reasons: 1) no vaccine has ever been 100% effective; the science may get there someday, but not yet; 2) some people get covid after vaccination but before their immunity has built; 3) the vaccines aren't known to protect (and can't be) against the new strains; this is why flu vaccines are reformulated every year

mRNA doesn't modify DNA, it injects chimp viruses with COVID-19s genetic profile, and your body thinks it's a real disease. It then develops immunity to the genetic profile, and thus most of the time to COVID. No GMO nor gene modifying. Listen to science.
