I happened to look at my electric bill the other day. The average temp in the past year was 50 degrees. The previous year was 44. Yikes.

There are people who embrace both of those preconceptions, but there are people in every other corner of the compass too.

I’m a theist and am aware of climate change, although I don’t think it’s a critical issue, we need to protect God’s miracle.

Good point, but that's Alanis-brand irony. The two comforting delusions come from the same principles.

The Joy of Creation
The perspective of a creationist

So I am for creationism, the opinion for Young Earth theorists. Young Earth theory is explained mainly by the bible. There is another theory however, the Old Earth theory and the perspective for evolutionists. The Old Earth theory is explained mainly by science. Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. (Oxford Languages)These theories explain what happens and why. Of course one is right and another is wrong. In my opinion, the creationism spectrum is correct. In my opinion, the creationism view is more clear and solid. In my opinion evolution is shaky, contradictory and sometimes confusing. This does not mean creationism is easier, it just makes more sense. I will be explaining why I think creationism makes more sense, therefore why it is my belief. My three main topics will be the beginning of the Earth, the history of Creationist and Evolutionist “timelines” and the age of the Earth.
Let's start at the beginning of everything. In the bible we are told “and God said, let there be light, and there was light” (https://biblehub.com/niv/genesis/1.htm Genesis 1:3) (BibleHub 2004). From there the rest of the Universe was created. Our science route is more of, there was a singularity and then the Big Bang and everything happened. The problem with the science there is that science says “energy can not be created or destroyed” (https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-chemistry/chapter/the-laws-of-thermodynamics/#:~:text=The%20first%20law%20of%20thermodynamics%2C%20also%20known%20as%20Law%20of,from%20one%20form%20to%20another.&text=In%20other%20words%2C%20energy%20cannot%20be%20created%20or%20destroyed.) (LumenLearning) The thing is, the Big Bang is contradicting just that, yet people still trust the science there. Another thing I will cover here is death. The bible says “Therefore sin entered the world by one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned” Romans 5:12 (https://biblehub.com/niv/romans/5.htm)(BibleHub 2004). Meanwhile science has that blank, it says it just happens which is not a good way to explain HOW it happened. One the one hand, our space rocks date back to 4.6 billion years ago (meteor, comet and asteroid) (https://meteorites.asu.edu/meteorites/meteorite-facts#:~:text=M

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Big Bang gets enrgy created and End of the universe theory sees it destroyed.

Energy is being created in the big bang for everything to happen

Creationism has a good deal around the bible sooo

If you find the science confusing, that means you may need to read a bit more to understand it, not that it isn't well supported.

The energy was rerouted from that singularity.
When we eat an apple, that apple gained energy from the soil, which in turn gained energy from the sun, which gained energy from the Big Bang, which gained energy from the singularity.

Okay, there’s a lot to unpack here. You say that the creationist spectrum is more correct and less shaky, but there is literally zero evidence other than a book. Meanwhile, the old earth and scientific spectrum...
We have fossils from millions of years ago, trees with insane amounts of rings, evidence that the planet is indeed old.
You also make the mistake of colliding evolution with the Big Bang, which are two different theories. Evolution is only designed to explain what happens after life begins. It could very well be that a god created the universe, and it wouldn’t affect evolution.
Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, but it can be redirected. While once it was in a big mass, now it is just... different.
Finally, you are literally saying everything in the bible is accurate. There is absolutely no truth to that . If Cain and Abel were Adam and Eve’s only children, like it says in the bible, than how was the earth populated?
Oh, and two people aren’t enough to populate a planet anyway. You would have insanely inbred people after not too long.

You do realize that they would have had more kids (and girls) as Cain killed Abel and Adam and Eve had an another son called Seth so I mean -_-

Also it was a part of my paper (I couldn't show entire thing)

And the oldest tree is only 9,000+ years old and the oldest living thing has been dated back to 15,000+ years ago (the immortal jellyfish)

Yo, I’m ok with you believing that. I’m just worried that you’ll start to take everything in the bible as fact, which can lead people down bad paths.

I don't take everything from it as facts, just most of it

Indeed, but there is a difference. Il Papa has declared that evolution and the Big Bang are just fine . . . and it it's ex cathedra, then Wubbzy will have to give up his opposition (as a Catholic) while the Pentacostals will be free to continue denying the dinosaurs.

Not of course technically irony for climate change. Opposing the evidence of climate change is not the actual cause. It's all the oil we use so please dont blame religion. On the other hand there is this.

Widespread belief in science may be an ironic cause of zealotry. When scientism does away with the basis for pseudo-rational e.g. a soul, belief. It put humans in a bind. Trust yourself completely or give into arbitrarily created rules so much that life is no more than material observances.
