I think Deep State Mitch is trying to save his lifetime political career.

It would have been nice if he had been as committed to supporting the GOP president as he only NOW has become committed to fighting nation-hating radical leftists. Too little Mitch . . . and much too late.

Nether side needs a politician who cannot work in a bipartisan manner for the benefit of the people he is supposed to be working for.
