It's going to happen within our lifetimes. Just every year that passes it becomes so much more and more obvious that this is not an insurance thing. It makes no sense to have people pay for the possibility that maybe their health will decline - because it will! It's not a maybe thing.

And more and more people see it. And we're the only country that doesn't do it. And the only debate these days is how best to implement it in a way that doesn't
give you brats more opportunities to keep getting in the way.

Why not pay for their homes. It not like they dont need a place to live. Or how about food...obviously the need to eat.
Why something arbitrary like health insurance. There are so many other things that are important (not saying your health isnt).

The point is , it doesnt stop at insurance. Marx himself said socialism isn't a permanent ideology. It's a stepping stone to communism. Socialism itself is non sustainable long term.

Look into income caps. It's a little more feasible

Would you like it to stop at insurance? I'd honestly be fine with that. That can be arranged. Many countries have universal healthcare but still don't have universal housing or universal foods. If that's your concern, WE CAN F**KING DO THAT.
