You speak facts, like Toriel became queen or something, and wanted all humans that entered the underground to be treated as friends, but then Undyne got sick of it and kicked her off the throne, wich sent Toriel back to the ruins, and once Undyne became queen, she wanted all humans dead, and never did anything to feed anyone, which lead to everyone going insane. Sans however, being him didn't want it and I think that's how he ended up with the crack in his skull, after a while everyone went insane besides Toriel, who just wants to keep you safe from the outside world, which has become more dangerous than ever.
