Since when is bail denied due to someone else’s actions? This judge is showing partiality and should be removed from the bench.

Then why are not all the rioters in Portland confined?

The actions of the accused were centered around the certification of the election. That certification has come and gone, therefore the reason for gathering at the capital no longer exists.

Nope, not a court reporter though definitely something else.

If you do not know the difference between a deposition, indictment, or statement of fact, maybe your experience in the legal arena as “definitely something else” is as a decades long defendant/convicted felon!

Dozens of criminal cases were filed within one of the Capitol riot and of those, there was a great deal of subsequent reporting both domestically and internationally on such. Do you not follow reputable news outlets? Not only have multiple defendants' own testimony to their lawyers been published, so too have various witnesses' testimony (some of which was gained via depostion).

Even during Trump's impeachment trial the prosecutors presented a great deal of evidence pertaining to a number of defendants who had made repeated threats of violence, etc. on social media platforms and to friends and family leading up to the event.

Somehow I don't think the AG's office would have ever employed me if that had been the case. I knew exactly what it was I sending to you, which if you had bothered to read a number of those statements of facts and indictments, they contain direct quotes extrapolated from the depositions . How is it that you seemingly know the difference between such but don't know how to find the full depositions for yourself?

I know that before a deposition can be taken, a case must be filed. When a criminal case is filed, a statement of fact is filed when the complaint is presented before the court.

You said you had info from DEPOSITIONS.

Depositions can only be taken AFTER a car is filed. Depositions in criminal cases are granted only for specific reasons pertaining to preservation of testimony and not BEFORE a case is filed.

Not all that participated in the gathering have been arrested yet. People are still being arrested. But not one person has gone back trying to break into the capital building again. Your argument holds no water. The judge’s argument holds no water. It is purely political.

Riiiiiiight, just like Covid-19 was unleashed onto the world to undermine Trump's presidency as so many GOP sychophant hacks and subvervient media personalities would have one believe. That BS is/was purely political. What happened at the Capitol was blatant criminality - motivated by a huge GOP political lie - and as such, those that participated in such will be held legally accountable.

I’m not passing judgement on what did or did not happen 1/6/21, only on judge not granting bail.

The same judge who refused to dismiss charges against Gen.Flynn even after DOJ admitted wrong doing and agreed to drop charges?

The DOJ admitted wrong doing in regards to Flynn and were in agreement to drop charges.

We’re talking about the judge here, not Flynn. The judge was wrong in the Flynn case. And he’s wrong in this situation.

What is your source of the depositions?

There's multiple sources that publish such but those in the legal community generally tend to go straight to the 'horse's mouth' and gain info from the Department of Justice itself. Here's just one of many resources available...

The request was specifically for your source of depositions related to the 1/6/21 Capitol cases. That link is for a database of the cases, of which one set of data is titled associated documents. Upon scrolling from beginning to end of the column, not one deposition is listed. There are indictments, statements of fact and information documents, but NOT ONE deposition.

TRY AGAIN!

Is that part of the law regarding pardons? Where is that written? Be specific please.
0 ups, 4y
Burdick v United States, 236 U.S. 79 (1915). SCOTUS stated in its ruling that a pardon carries "an imputation of guilt, acceptance a confession of it". That precedent still holds true today.

I guess you’re ignorant of the fact of the DOJ withheld exculpatory evidence. Hopefully you know what that means
2 ups, 4y
If the judge had granted the jointly concurring defense and prosecution motion to dismiss all charges, Trump would not of had to issue a pardon to rectify an injustice.

Again, Minneapolis/Floyd is irrelevant here.

Matt Gaetz is irrelevant to this. Make different meme.
