Your choice of word - retaliation - shows you have no real understanding of the true relationship between a cop and his captive...the cop SHOULD NEVER RETALIATE, AS THAT IS POLICE BRUTALITY. We have all seen it, the cop that punches the dude for making him run 3 blocks, after he has caught him. That's retaliation. Son, if you want to use that word in this circumstance, go ahead, as retaliation IS BRUTALITY.

Deadly force, witnessing a knife attack, warrants deadly force. We will see the body cam footage, and I am certain listen to commands given...

You’re taking my point out of context. resistance of arrest will lead to police retaliation no matter the crime. a mass murderer can turn himself in peacefully and most likely not die but, somebody that gets in a fistfight and tries to punch an officer the officer will most likely bring his taser, out but if the criminal keeps trying to hurt or kill the officer the officer must take more extreme measures. chauvin took it way to far, but most officers are not like him. also retaliation is human instinct when adrenaline is sent to a part of the brain fight or flight is our response. officers will most likely choose fight because its their job to make sure citizens of the law are safe. once again I think chauvin took it too far but that doesn't mean retaliation to resistance is racist.

When cops stay calm, they make good decisions.
