Picture it: It's April 2023. Minecraft version 1.20 has been released, and sadly, it is the last. Mojang decided to add things Minecrafters always wanted in the new update, the "Grand Finale" update. Colored water, birds, "bluestone", and all that good stuff. It's bitter sweet, but it gives way for Mojang to begin work on their next game,
This comment is not accurate for many reasons: Mojang never said that 1.20 will be the last Minecraft update and so far the only new features announced were bamboo wood, hanging signs, the camel, and the sniffer. Also, why would a game this popular stop updating after 20 versions? Besides, how do you know this? Mojang has never revealed the name of the update and said that the theme will be self-expression, representation, and storytelling. All signs point to no. This is not the last Minecraft update.
