It's kind of not about people's feelings: it's about the math. (Actually agreeing with the first part of Zaklog's comment here, SMH).

Why should I “respect” idiots telling stupid lies?

Because they're human, dude. That's why you treat them with basic respect.

Hmmm, how have they respected me & mine? Oh, that’s right! They’ve branded us all domestic terrorists and “racists” (whatever that means). So I should respect them in return…why?

You personally have been branded a terrorist? Or -- who is "us all" exactly?

Anyone who supported President Trump and publicly recognized that the 2020 election was stolen.

And you haven't answered my question. Why should I respect them and their stupid, malicious lies?

Speaking as a leftist, I don't call those people terrorists (unless, like the Capitol rioters, they committed acts of terror). I would call them . . . misinformed.

You don't need to respect lies -- of course not. But it would do you good, and earn you respect and other benefits in return, if you treat PEOPLE with basic respect. No need to fly off the handle and call people "idiots" or other names.

"No need to fly off the handle and call people "idiots" or other names."

They want respect? They can start by giving respect. I attempt rational argument. You know what I get called for presenting facts, evidence and reason? Racist. F--k that and f--k them.
