Actually she is just a typical leftist. They have perfected the art of hypocricy and their politicians are major carriers of that soul deadening spiritual disease. No vaccine was ever created to combat them except for the U.S. Constitution . . . and of late even it seems to be weakening from all of their constant nation-hating attacks.

Well,that was racist.
Are you trying to perpetuate the myth that all Conservatives are racists?

Excellent point prankster. Her skin color isn't the issue for me; her racially divisive, pro violence rhetoric is.

She IS what is wrong with this country. Her and anyone else in government who advocate anarchy and violence should be barred from any government office or employment. They don't love our country, they love political power.

A big-mouth that has incited violence on multiple occasions. And like many of her mindset, always ready to pose as a victim.

"I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

One of the very few times he said the word "peacefully" in his whole speech, where the word "fight" was used exponentially more. But yea, he did say that as sort of a disclaimer you might say. I mean, it's not like the crowd wasn't riled up already and people were already walking over there when he said that.

And we know how that turned out :) But, as we found out, Trump can't be responsible for the words he speaks. Neither can Maxine.

If using the word "fight" incites riots, then almost every politician running for office would be guilty of incitement. It sure seems like those who hate Trump heard what they wanted in that speech. Possibly as much as those who love him did.

Regardless, I don't consider Trump a particularly skillful speaker. Sure, he can get a crowd all riled up, but when it comes to precise speaking, or using subtleties in a nuanced way to communicate important ideas, he falls pretty flat imo.

My argument obviously encompases far more than that. There were many other factors associated with what happened, and I didn't feel the need to go into the entirety of what happened in depth.
When you have people like Proud Boys at the beck and call of the President who admit they were reading between the lines, and took "Stand back and stand by" as a command that they acknowledged, you have to be very concerned for what the President, who has a history of poor choice of words (a generous characterization), is going to say next. You have to get in the mind of those right-winged terrorists and assume the worst. Turns out, they did exactly what we thought they'd do.

You're 100% correct that there was a lot more involved. Some of it has likely not even come to light, yet.

My concern with his sloppy, imprecise speaking style, is that groups like you mentioned, and also other politicians, the media, and average citizens like you and me, can also take what he says to mean whatever they want it to mean. That's why he shouldn't run again.

However, if the republicans want to win the next election, I think they can do it. They just need someone with Trump's ideas (or a good number of them) who can articulate them precisely. And of course, that person needs to be pretty much the opposite of Trump in terms of personal style. With most people, he didn't do himself any favors with that crazy personality.

I can agree with that. If the Republicans can put out a good platform that isn't so divisive or incendiary as Trump was, I'd certainly respect the party more. I don't think that this is what the majority of the base wants. I think, based on my perceptions of the right, that they want someone to keep "owning the libs." Someone will be that crazy personality you're mentioning.
