This works with so many other things too:

—Guns “save lives”;
—The Confederacy is part of “our history”;
—Pushing women out of the workplace is about protecting women’s rights;
—Black Americans making a free and conscious decision to vote Democrat equals evidence that they are brainwashed plantation slaves;
—Restricting access to voting will make our elections more fair.

Etc etc.

Basically, take common sense and flip it and you have the MAGA version of common sense

Taking away welfare helps people get more financially stable.
