Basically Maxine Waters got a police escort to the protest, incited people to not recognize the curfew, made inappropriate comments about the case, encouraged the public to be confrontational, and then left before the curfew went into effect. I hope that helps.

I don't think the police are the ones to blame. It's the politicians taking advantage of the situation to promote their point of view. And Maxine waters has a long history of encouraging the public to exhibit bad behavior. Like when she encouraged the public to push back publicly on people in the Trump Administration.

The citizens of Minnesota and Minneapolis are to blame for hiring morons to run their government, who then hire the police, who do the bidding of governmental morons.

I agree due to living in a city where the police were told to stand down during rioting and looting last year. But here in the election since then three out of four incumbents were voted out of office.

There was rioting where I live last year, and the city council told the police officers to stand down (not take action to stop) to the riot and looting. Then in the election last November three out of the four city council members trying to get back into office didn't get voted back into office. As I said you always have to give the people the right to choose who they feel best for them. And people's actions speak much louder than their words.

And the big business I'm sure you noticed how the social media companies manipulated the information that the public got before the last presidential election...Hunter Biden's laptop. It has been noted in the media that if the information about hunter's laptop Biden probably wouldn't be president. Does that help?
