Your premise is faulty.
We can all see the gun in his hand.
However, what we do NOT see is the the moron throwing it behind the fence because he used his body to hide his actions.
The only reason we know he threw it is because it was a few feet away, instead of at his feet like it should have been if he had DROPPED it.
The officer does NOT know he threw, it because he doesn’t see him do it. For all he knows, the CRIMINAL still has it in his hand.
Have you ever been in a similar ’life or death’ situation? Have you ever had someone with a gun in their hand turn around to face you?
The officer was fully justified in firing since he could not have known that the criminal had disarmed himself.
However, if the underage criminal PoS hadn’t been on the street shooting at passing cars and carrying an illegal gun, he would still be alive.
He was being stupid, and he paid the ultimate price for that stupidity.
Thank god his defective genes will NOT be passed on to the next generation.
