Abortion is great. But only if it's fully cooked.

But he DID kick Satan out of Heaven for using free will, as well as humanity out of Eden because the forbidden fruit made Adam and Eve self-aware. Self-aware people, and those with free will, are impossible to control, and God hates what he can't control. Therefore, God is liberal

Actually Satan is the liberal and original Snowflake because he wanted something that wasn't his(God's Throne/Authority/Power/to be called God) and when God said 'No' to Satan, Satan did what human liberals typically do - caused a riot in the neighborhood(Heaven) in an attempt to get what never deserved in the first place by violence and force.

No, Satan refused to bow to Man after God ordered it, and God kicked him out for it. That's why Satan came back, but as an angel, he stood no chance. God is a liberal for opposing free will. Hell, his rules of living are called COMMANDments instead of "guidelines." As in he commands you to follow them

Me looking for | LOOKING FOR THE POLITICS OF IT ALL | image tagged in me looking for | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I don’t know why this is indeed in the politics stream because it isn’t very political at all.

It’s literally stating that Cain killed Abel, and God blamed Cain, not the rock.

What, are you saying that he’s comparing it to Liberals banning guns? That isn’t necessarily a political topic. He didn’t say that God supports gun ownership or a gun-less society (which would indeed suck). He’s saying that God blames the killer, not the tool. This is evident in more places than just Cain and Abel.

The Bible isn’t in favor of any one political party, but in some cases, Biblical beliefs can indeed affect your political beliefs... but not anything like “Jesus supports Trump”.

this quote has nothing to do with the political spectrum

It serves to discredit those who think that God supports any political party when in reality they should be the ones supporting Him.

I can sum it up in one verse in the Book of Isiah - "All nations are below Him(God). Counted less than nothing but vanity."

Cuz I didn’t actually realize it at that point. It was my fault.

Would it make you happy if I did it right now? Despite me already talking about it?

ya, it's not necessary but it would be nice if you did it

Aaayyyeee. I'm a freshman next year and will go to Seminary. But may I ask why u have that picture and not this one?

Because Mormons, in general, are only taught LDS Christology, not Christian history. Once in a while you get a teacher like Joseph Spencer at BYU, but by and far, the mormons don't dig very deep. Also, as a former Ward Mission Leader, I can definitely say that LDS missionaries are the least trained theologians. For most people, "pray about it" is not a good answer to whether or not Jesus was a political radical that sought to overthrow his government.

Interesting Fact: I've met multiple people who think that, but we actually review another book of scripture (New Testament, Old Testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Convenience) and study it every year! Not just the Book or Mormon! Also, "Pray About it" isn't all they say. What area were u a mission leader for, and when?
0 ups, 3y
There's only one MTC in the U.S., and that's in Provo, Utah, so all missionaries come out exactly the same way. And I was ward mission leader for 2 years so I went through A LOT of missionaries. LDS seminary is good ground work, but it doesn't ask deep questions, give deep answers, or do deep dives into how and why all the scriptures were written. I've done both LDS seminary (I make that distinction because there are many different seminaries) in high school, and have a degree in theology from Loyola Marymount, because I knew there was more to the story. Conversely, if you want to do a deep dive into mormon theology with a solid foundation of historical criticism, then any book by Dr. Joseph Spencer is a must read. I was lucky enough to be in his ward for a couple of years when he was the HIgh Priest teacher.

Lol. Actually Im a conservative. I'm a christian and love the bible, I was just pointing out that some things like the stoning of people was kinda harsh.

First, not every example is of good behavior. Bad behavior shows what not to do & why. Second, rules kept people alive back then. Harsh consequences of not following rules exterminated many of the cultures in the Old Testament. We may find that the consequences of ignoring bad behavior are going to be harsh.

To expand on that homosexual and promiscuous people in general spread diseases, witches played with dead things and spread plagues, etc etc. They didn't know how diseases worked back then so God explained it as unclean.

No there really aren't.
