It's amazing how the fear of Trump has not dissipated since he's no longer president. I don't get it though. What is there to fear? Or is it just hatred that will dissipate over time? Or won't dissipate over time? Which circles right back to it really being fear.

It's not trump I fear so much as his cultists. That's why I have a couple of guns for self defense.

A couple of guns for self defense? If I didn't know better TWM, I'd say that comment sounds a bit pro 2A, and even 'conservative-like' (no offense intended!) Nothing wrong with being pro-2A, imo.

As for Trump's "cultists", my $0.02 is that's an over-reaction that stems from people being fed that narrative by the media. There are die-hard ideologues in both parties (or perhaps more accurately, both of the two major political ideologies here in this country, if that can even be broken down into left and right) who could be referred to as cultists if the criteria were applied equally. I doubt those on Trump's side of the spectrum are any more cult like than those on the other side of the spectrum.

I do support the 2nd Amendment, unlike some liberals, though I also support gun regulations, unlike some conservatives.

As for the one-dimensional political spectrum, I reject it. That includes conservatism.

Fat Elvis seems to simply ignore the fake news and alternative facts era which the rumpt cultists embrace, along with the 'bad people on both sides' argument - that along with basic science denial makes them clearly a cult.

If only what that mayo with mustard did for five years could suddenly not have happened.
