I went to the movies this week and it was AWESOME.

I doubt it. Not even because of COVID I just don't really think they're as relevant as they once were. Which kinda sucks

And it's much less costly. Rather than paying ten dollars to see one movie a lot of streaming services have much more content with that same price. But many people do like the experience which is something in it's favor

Depends I guess. My theater has the recliner seats so I enjoy going to the movies if there’s something good playing. However there’s never any good movies playing anymore, so I wind up almost never going.

In my opinion? 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Lots of movies from that time are now classics and pretty much beloved by most people today. Nowadays, it’s mostly Marvel and sequels and remakes of much better movies from the 80s and 90s. There is nothing creative coming out of Hollywood and there likely won’t be anytime soon.

Well the big one in my town is shutting down permanently, so not that one. But the other one has couches and shit so it’s all good

I mean, with the rise of digital streaming, I would assume they would still exist. We can all agree the thrill of going to a movie theater or a drive-in is amazing!! Even if you have the most comfy couch or binge-bed, a movie theater still has an Imax and Cinemax experience you can't easily replicate. Especially if you go to the more fancy cinemas

I don't know about sit-in theaters, but my local drive-in has really seen a rise in profits out of the Covid fear. Have a feeling the popularity of drive-ins will increase.

I hope drive ins make a comeback. That's a classic a American pastime. My first time at a drive in was to see Pinocchio.

My local dollar theater was literally just selling popcorn in the parking lot for months for you to take home, and that’s how they survived.

Near me you can rent out the entire room and bring up to 18 people and play the movie of your choice. It’s epic.
