We do.... The Black Army LT that got pulled over becuase he bought a new car and didn't have a plate yet. He had the temporary plate in the window. He is active duty serving in our Military. And he told them he was afraid to get out of the car and the police said.. "YOU BETTER BE" before threatening, then beating up on him, and pepper spraying him. What exactly was he charged with??? Nothing. There was not a single charge they could file against him. Not even 1....

Every single criminal is a bad apple. Every. Single. One.
And yet, criminal suspects are gifted with a justice SYSTEM that presumes innocence.

A Justice system that kills them for an air freshner and they never make it to court is not justice. Police are there to arrest, not kill people. Its protect and serve, not kill then justify. Even the guilty deserve the right to be able to make it to their court date...

Which is an absolute lie... When an officer pulls a gun or taser, they can see it in front of their body. The video even shows her holding the gun in her hand. How can she not see a gun right in front of her face. She didn't fire immediately...

Its not that he didn't comply. The law states that he doesn't have to get out of the car without having committed a crime. This was upheld by the Supreme Court. The guy indicated he was afraid and asked what he was being pulled over for. The cops did not charge him with a single offense. So what is your new excuse?

Not only was he not charged with anything, but one of the officers was fired and the other will be required to undergo additional training.

Actually the law doesn't say you MUST comply. We are not slaves. Citizens have rights. Officers can make reasonable requests. If a citizen finds a request unreasonable or a violation of civil rights specific to illegal searches and siezures they do not have to comply. The guy had his hands outside of the car. Unless you have committed a crime, there is no reason for you to show your identification or step out of the car. I have officers in my family, we know this as a fact. Even guilty perpetrators have rights even if they are under arrest. Just becuase it is a black guy, don't summarily justify removing his rights.

And I find it surprising that so many white cops with tasers, guns, etc are so afraid of their shadow that its ok to justify killing anyone they wish as long as they say... I am a snowflake and afraid..

Why does the civil rights in the constitution not apply to black people? But do to white people. A white man can shoot and kill people left and right but generally always is taken into custody alive. A black man with an air freshner though cannot be tolerated and he is killed. Civil Rights should apply to all, not just white people.
