Actually the law doesn't say you MUST comply. We are not slaves. Citizens have rights. Officers can make reasonable requests. If a citizen finds a request unreasonable or a violation of civil rights specific to illegal searches and siezures they do not have to comply. The guy had his hands outside of the car. Unless you have committed a crime, there is no reason for you to show your identification or step out of the car. I have officers in my family, we know this as a fact. Even guilty perpetrators have rights even if they are under arrest. Just becuase it is a black guy, don't summarily justify removing his rights.
