Also, there is no such thing as an Alpha male. The very man who came up with the term to describe wolves later discredited it because it turned out the wolves he thought were 'Alpha males' were just parents and pregnant wolves. In Bonobos (our closest genetic relatives), they have a matriarchal society, and with Chimpanzees, gender doesn't matter, and they become Alphas by doing favours.
