Space force was not needed. We were already doing the job as AIRMEN. The former admin thought it sounded like a good idea, so he did it. No seriously, thinking out loud, he said "we may even have a space force....we'll have a space force."

He originally said it as a joke, as do most of what the man says he says...until it is viable by the public then ot no longer becomes a joke. Sound familiar?

So how do you get congress to fund another force, you promise that there will be COMMANDS built in their home states, creating jobs, making those congressmen re-electable.

It was an unneeded money grab, just like everything else the former administration did for friends of the office. Wonder why they chose Alabama? Ranking minority congressmen on the defense committee perhaps, it is his state. He is an R.
