Social media is abuzz with this one. I've seen a lot of people oversimplifying it and saying that Georgia is just making sure that voting requires an ID. I would have to research more into the actual laws but there is something about the TIMING of the laws and the history of voter suppression in the south.

I'd be okay with voter ID laws if every American citizen was immediately given a voter ID. Including homeless citizens.

Occasionally capitalism can handle a problem that democracy can't!

The movie industry has been doing a lot of work in Georgia the last few years . . . if it follows suit, my guess is that this law is toast.
