I am just getting into modeling and I also like U.S.A Aircraft because i'm American

one to rule them all ... lol

i formerly bought some models of the first aircraft from the wright brothers and some others,
to be built together with my son,
my son didn't even touched them nor did he show up.

Dang man Modeling I thought would be boring and takes a long time and just thought it was not the thing for me but, boy was I wrong... Since my brother is on the John C. Stennis (U.S Supercarrier) once he came home for christmas he bought the model for me and helped me build it and we had so much fun, Your son missed out on some good father son time and a fun thing to do. I hope if you still have those that your son can build them with you so he does not have to miss out on the fun of it. (But it did take a long time, so I was right about one thing)

Well, because my son has no patience at all and i knew it willl not be done quick,
i bought different types with different difficulties, so we could start easy ...
Was just looking what i've bought, the Sopwith F1 Camel.
I've built the F14 by myself because the didn't showed up.
The other two collected dust already. I originally thought it were good to built then with him,
so he can hang them into his room.

Don't rise hopes, he will not come.
He blocked me on his phone.

I already thought about to gift them away.

I am so sorry to hear that... Man that is a terrible thing to do. But the F-14 is one of my favorite planes after the KA-6D Intruder, F-4E Phantom II, and the F-15E Strike Eagle. With the swept wing design and the Engine placement is ugly built otherwise it is a pretty beautiful plane. And the Sopwith Camel was a World War One Biplane right... I don't now really anything before WWII

But would you recommend and models

To be open, i never was a man who bought modelling stuff.
So, when i make reommendations what kind of model to chose,
i'd recommend indy or formular one cars, or street cars, maybe.

I am not experienced in this moddeling hobby, just did so for my son.
thought it would make him happy and we could share time together.
I invested a boot load of money into all that stuff.
The airguns for airbrushing, i gifted to a friend already.
i even bought a tool case for all the colors, brushes, glue and you know, all the little things,
which function as tools and one needs to build these models.

Yeah well thanks for sharing this stuff with me... totally fine if you don't have a Model recommendation, because it was fun chatting with you. Hope you have a awesome rest of your day or night for me but whatever :)

I know the F-14, And the A7 Corsair, But is the E-6 the EA-6B Prowler. and dang my brother is on the John C. Stennis as a pilot. And if you have any model suggestions that are mostly military aircraft related ( I am open to any military model.)

If you just came to tell a story that I think is pretty cool and then try to make up something political you can either Suggest a model, Leave, or just talk about something different about the Carrier. Plz no politics :)
