I've read some dumb sh*t on here about the covid vaccines but this one might take the cake.

It's not proof, but it's a theory with multiple lens of evidence that are reasonable and that I as a person think should be investigated. Did you know that for Covid, China shut down internal flights but not international ones? And that China actively tries to prevent investigations into covid origins in its country, and blamed covid on us military? And that Fauci had patents for the covid vaccines before the outbreak? And that the Wuhan labs have a history of accidental contaminations and that the US was funding the lab (there is a bio-exchange of samples with the US(like disease cultures))? It's a whole lot of evidence to back it up, but there can't be proof found until the evidence is actually investigated and taken seriously. I'm not trying to insult anyone; there's so much about it that people don't know.

The most relevant part seems to be "Fauci had patents for the vaccine before covid". This would appear to back up the OP claim.

However it doesn't appear to be true. Fauci is listed as having worked on a potential treatment for HIV.. which got a couple patents... patents which are owned by the US dept of HHS.

Hey, I thought about what you said, and found it to be true. I did learn something new things, however. There's been a review of this topic by chemical weapons lawyers, and I found it to be interesting.
