It was because of both both. Keep in mind that Floyd had 11 milligrams of Fentanyl in his system -- which is much more than your average overdose -- & others drugs, too. Nevertheless, Derek Chauvin is a monster who deserves life in prison, but there's no evidence for the widespread conspiracy theory that his act was racially motivated (not saying that you said that but you might believe it). In fact, his police record can pretty much disprove that. He's assaulted whites before; clearly it's not a race thing. He also worked at a Latino bar before & had a minority wife. Highly unlikely that his act was racially motivated (plus it's unsupported in the first place), but again, it's nevertheless reprehensible & egregious.

I am aware of the Fentanyl. The Autopsy states that he probably wouldn't have died without the Fentanyl in his system. The point is that he was killed by the cops

11 milligrams plus several other drugs? No. He was going to die, whether it would have been because of a seizure or heart failure related to the drugs.

Not what the Autopsy said. Either way, if he said he was suffocating, they should still have rushed him to a hospital. Like any sensible cop would do

If this information was not significant in revealing his cause of death, it wouldn't have been included on the autopsy report. Additionally, it proves you wrong in the fact that he actually DID have fentanyl in his system.

Derek Chauvin should have gotten him to the hospital if he was having problems like this. It was very significant in revealing his death, but he probably wouldn't have died without a policeman's little push over the edge

He initially was resisting. Also, Floyd was going to die regardless. He had 11 milligrams of fentanyl in his system, way more than your average overdose, plus other drugs, too. He was most likely going to die the same day. I'M NOT DISMISSING NOR DEFENDING DEREK CHAUVIN'S ACTS; THEY WERE REPREHENSIBLE & EGREGIOUS & MAKE HIM DESERVING OF LIFE IN PRISON & PERHAPS THE DEATH PENALTY. But you get my point.

The fact that he would have died anyways isn’t relevant, the cop didn’t know that and what the cop did was wrong.

No. He's simply saying that if he hadn't resisted in the first place he wouldn't have been crushed in the neck. Floyd couldn't have known, of course, BUT he still was wrong to resist.
