In all seriousness, yes. It's going to be bad either way. Either acquittal or a small sentence and they'll be the Floyd riots 2.0 or hard time and good luck finding anyone that wants to be a cop.

There will be several hung juries before an equital.

Well yesterday, we saw body cam footage of three cops, in a use of force action (because of fear of life), so embattled with an unruly captive, that 1 had a hand in his pocket, one leaning on the tire with one arm, and the other sat on his feet. So one cop says, "HEY, let's turn hom on his side". In which you hear you a stern NO, in response.

Why did the other cop want to turn Mr. Floyd on his side? Because he knew it was against policy, amd best practices to keep am individual in the probe position for any longer than needed to subdue, amd George was subdued.

Something you have to remember, regardless of on drugs or not, all the prosecution has to prove is that Chauvins actions did CONTRIBUTE to his death.

They are trying him on second degree murder. You need to prove intent. People under duress that are on drugs can go into a frenzy, and injure themselves. Excited delirium, I believe it's called. It all comes down to whether Chauvin was choking him. If he wasn't, then Floyd was restrained. The drug levels were high. Only one juror has to have doubt. And Floyd was a dead man stumbling. He was saying he couldn't breathe before he was restrained.

And Chauvin had black gloves on. They weren't in his pocket.

Defense is trying to paint the crowd as unruly, and violent, in order to for his defense of his client was too involved with an unruly crowd to try to worry about the care of his captive. It isnt working, imho. The 9 year old testified that the only violance was on the part of the police, when asked who was performing the violance. So far, three expert eyewitnesses, 2 of which are in public service/public safety. You didnt know there was an off duty firefighter there, did you? Me neither!!!! There will be another 911 operator testifying, as an eyewitness, not good with four expert eyewitnesses on the prosecution side. I know, I know, we have to wait for the defense side of the story.

Also, so far, the expert witnesses have withstood cross examination quite well, with credibility intact.
