Assuming that the color of my skin means my experiences are the same as everyone with similar color of skin, THAT is racism. My skin color is what is referred to as "white". My actions are my own.

Point A, Point B, Point C

Color blindness is a worthy goal - an end-goal, a utopian goal, a Point C - but we can't leapfrog there right away. We have some harsh realities about race to confront and undo first.

A government that systematically disenfranchises a population for centuries owes it to them to systematically *benefit* them to correct the injustice - or else true equality will never be reached.

Dr King never ever even once said that we should just ignore problems on the basis that identifying problems was a form of racism.
