Just why, Disney? Why? Raya isn’t perfect, but it’s a masterpiece compared to the Mulan remake

Several of Pixar's past animated movies could be called original films and should have won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar (but didn't because the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is biased against animation).

Live-action movies are cheaper to make than animated movies, so why doesn't Disney film some original screenplays in live-action?
