I think there are two genders but I also believe that people can choose to be non binary (essentially genderless) and gender is not biological, your sex is biological. They are not exactly the same thing, as your sex is orange he chromosomes (XX, XY) and gender is more of a factor on your life. Like how you choose to identify, as a female, male, or non binary.

Gender and sex meant the same thing when it was taught to me, so you agree there are only two genders or sexes. What I say is the truth but words changed over time. Now people add genders randomly and that is confusing. The way I view this topic is keep it simple and easy to understand. Gender or sex cannot change you are what you are. The sun doesn't become the moon just because I say it is.

I think I see what you mean, but there’s something you’re forgetting:
The moonlight is just reflected sunlight, so they are two sides of the same coin.
I don’t think adding five million gender classifications is a good thing, I believe there are two main genders: male and female, and an unofficial third gender: non binary.
Also, words do change over time to reflect how they are used, which is what’s happening to sex and gender.

You are correct, but if you want to get technical, in a society based on classifying things by gender, it makes sense to have a third gender, non binary, as a safe place for both genderless people and people who feel they are not male or female.
