Simple trolling technique I've encountered from bad actors on other streams: they try to push you into saying something that's against TOS.
Due to the way site rules work, the site wide mods don't have to take into account the entirety of the conversation. You can get banned for responding in kind if you use certain words. Fair? Maybe not. But that what happens.
