its an infinite loop I always think of this (long explanation) if you say it's opposite day on opposite day it would reverse it and mean it is not opposite day but then that would mean nothing that day would be opposite but then your previous statement of it being opposite day wouldn't be reversed so then it WOULD be opposite day but if it IS opposite day then that would be flipped around and mean it isn't opposite day so... it goes on like that forever.
