I don't trust those Covid-19 vaccines

I don't trust those Covid-19 vaccines | How does it make sense that we already have found a
vaccine? For other vaccines it took people years and
years before they had a vaccine. Now it only took them
one year. Or take cancer for example. How many
patients died from cancer? For how long are we
dealing with cancer? Up till now, there's still no cure for
that. Not to mention that they used technology that has
NEVER been used before. It's still in experimental
phase, don't you understand? We cannot know the
long term effects of this vaccin. Besides, why did they
want to create a vaccine since the very beginning of
the corona period. Why did nobody look for other kind
of effective treatments as well?

Especially considering that their are clearly therapeutic methods of reducing/eliminating the death and negative effects of these Covid/Corona strains effectively. They also work on all of the variants that have or will appear and are often available over the counter, generically produced and or naturally occurring substances. But no big bucks for Pharma.

It doesn't matter how long it took, it matters that we have them. And why is it scarier to get the vaccine than to get infected with the disease?

Why is it scarier to get an unproven vaccine with no track record than it is to be infected by a virus with a 99.7% recovery rate? hmmmm....

But it has been proven.

Vaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement.

It has not been proven, and there is no more glaring statement than the admission that even vaccinated individuals may still contract covid-19 (per CDC). Short term side effects are still being discovered because the normal trial process was truncated. Long term side effects are unknown because not enough time has passed.

There's a difference between contracting the virus and testing positive for it. Also, it takes time for the body to build an immune response. It seems to me like you're just spinning CDC's words to fit your own narrative.

I don't need to spin anything. The cdc and who have backtracked and changed position so many times it's ridiculous.

Mask, no mask, shutdown, no shutdown, no hcq, yes hcq.... Pick an opinion, the cdc has supported it...or might soon.

So revising a position when more scientific data becomes available is somehow bad? That's pretty much how science works.

When it goes back and forth, yes. Changing position for political purpose serves the public is what way?

I don't know, maybe you should ask Trump, who botched the response quite thoroughly to the pandemic. As for the CDC, I doubt they changed position for political reasons, unless, y'know, they were staffed by political shills.

Just Google cdc covid-19 flip flop. There are plenty of examples.

None of those articles refute my earlier point.

it's possible for both to be true.

We can go back and forth on the CDC all day long, but the fact remains that without the vaccines we're gonna be going into lockdowns and wearing masks until either so many people have been infected that we achieve herd immunity (during which the death toll will pile up way more), or the virus dies out on its own, which won't happen because of people refusing to follow guidelines.
