Oh yeah, I started taking art classes last year and I learned to do that there. My teacher was SUPER picky with shading, like even what I do now would be unacceptable to him lol.
The good thing is I think I learned from that. You're amazing at doing details and colors though!

I can't believe he STILL wouldn't approve of that shading though, like that's shading with EFFORT-
The funny thing is though, with all my details and stuff, it's 40% planned and 60% just thought up of on the spot.
Ah, but whatever you're doing is definitely working, it does look really nice for sure!
And yeah if the shading wasn't a perfect gradient he'd take off a few points for each small inconsistency (any visible line or sudden change in value). He was a great teacher though imo.

Well, your linework is really neat and if you have good composition you could do well in an art class. And you could probably get the hang of shading soon enough. Plus most art teachers aren't as harsh on grading, from my experience.
ngl miriva is a hot and easily lewd-able character.
(maybe not easy to draw cause of all the detail, but if you had experience at drawing her it'd be easy.)
