That is not true. Patriots have America's heroism to be proud of (World War 2). You, who hate your country, have nothing to be proud of because you see only the bad, and ignore the good.

England was the real hero in WWII. America stormed the beaches at normandy but there was also Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

So, that's what you have to say about the countless American men who lost their lives and limbs in the war? England probably would have fallen to Hitler if the US hadn't stepped in.

The atomic bombs saved millions of lives and ended the war. Should they have been targeted at civilians? No. Did they end the war? Yes. The atomic bomb doesn't make the US any less of a great country.

You make the argument the ends justify the means. The bombs killed up to 200,000 innocent civilians. It was essentially a terrorist attack. Innocent people shouldn't be used as pawns.

That isn't terrorism. Questionable action in a war isn't terrorism. And bombs that were dropped 80 years ago don't mean the US isn't a good country for the most part.
