Alan Turing pleaded guilty to gross indecency with Arnold Murray on the 31st March 1952. WW2 ended in 1945 he was not charged with being a homo sexual (Gay)....He didn't commit suicide as is often reported, but his death was due to of his own clumsiness. Like Quentin Crisp (Denis Charles Pratt) and many other British Stately Homo's these men were strong, hard and very much driven nothing like the Sissy fairies they are often portrayed as ,nor were they soft in the head to claim they were some new gender. They knew they had different sexual orientations but were still male and men.
