This post is false, you don't have "a friend"

That's because I'm shy.

Where are the lefties who want life sentences for capitol rioters? Hypocrisy is so evident by the left.

I didn’t see anyone calling for life sentences for Portland Federal building Rioters. Republicans or Democrats. I also don’t see the feigned outrage from the left which makes it pretty obvious they are ok with attacks on federal property as long as the attackers are leftists, but want extreme enforcement of they are rightists. That’s blatant leftist hypocrisy. You guys can’t keep your convictions straight.

Not like you condemned it when it was the other side. Your enthusiasm and consistency are suspect.

The ones who wanted to harm congressmen should be given lifetime sentences, but the ones who peacefully protested and had no part in the storming shouldn’t be even arrested. The ones who wanted to get in the capital building but didn’t intend to harm anyone should be arrested for trespassing. Same thing for the Portland courthouse. If you were protesting a block away then you shouldn’t be arrested, but if you were looking to burn the courthouse or took part in it then you should be arrested.

No, she did not.

Even if she had her day in court and was convicted she would not have faced the death penalty.

Except the heat of that moment was two months ago, and we weren't in it.

We have the luxury of sitting back and watching the replay, so our experience is more akin to a trial in the sense that we can step away and look at it more rationally, our base impulses subdued by time, distance, and logic.

Does the death of George Floyd - who was in the process of getting arrested for violating the law - also inspire the same reaction in you?

Well I was talking about your reaction, which despite you deleting it, was a most volatile stomping your foot kill-her-kill-her-good-yeah one.

One difference was that her crime was only in the beginning stages. We'll never know the extent she might have gone nor her intentions other than trying to get in.

With Floyd we do know the full extent of his crimes at the time, as well as a history indicating how far he might take things. Does that justify his death? Of course not, he was restrained and his crimes and actions did not warrant such.

But your "She deserved it" refrain is.... chilling.

I don't mean to be a little itch about it, just that I expect that type of a reaction from a certain camp of which I was under the impression did not include you.

So...why hasn't the officer been identified yet? Why isn't he facing charges? "Chaos of the moment" is not a valid excuse for excessive force which resulted in the death of an unarmed woman. I saw the videos - this wasn't a quick-draw situation - the Capitol officer deliberately drew, took aim and fired. George Floyd may have had a fatal amount on fentanyl in his system but there is still a trial being held since the police appear to have acted in "the heat of the moment" and exceeded appropriate use of force. All we want is an impartial investigation and justice where it is due. However it is being stuffed down the memory hole faster than kleenex in the prom queen's bra because it does not fit the ruling party's agenda.
