That can only be the direct result of your lack knowing that the term "Problematic" is currently being overused by media and politicians to describe something or someone who they deem as inappropriate or too offensive. So, what you perceive as vague is not due to a lack of clear expression or explanation on my part. It is your lack of knowledge on current social events taking place.

He was an idiot, and would frequently use the word "pragmatic" when he should have used "problematic"

One day, I couldn't take it any more and I had to say something. I explained to him that "pragmatic" doesn't mean the same thing as "problematic" - in fact, they almost have opposite meanings.

It didn't stop him from doing it though.....and it didn't stop people from thinking he was an idiot. It's almost as if he thought that if he kept using it wrong, it would mean what he wanted it to mean.
