The other option, of course, is to stay and fight for what's right. Although here in Corruptifornia, that's an awfully tall task.

Yea, that is alot of flakes to convince your way is better...I liked visiting California, but I dont think I would want to live there, no offense, please.

None taken. I'm not from here originally. As far as being a tourist, I think there are still plenty of nice places to visit. Just stay out of SF, unless you know a local.

And, there are also still plenty of nice places to live. But to live in them, it takes money. Luckily, we bought our house back in '07. It's worth waaaay more now. Sure, that was just before the bust in '08, but home values have bounced back with a vengeance. You'd be shocked at what a 1750 sq. foot house in a middle to upper middle class neighborhood in the south SF bay area goes for nowadays. It's pretty fcuking ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.
