How could they have done this

I like a lot of libertarian ideas, but the Libertarian Party is useless. Their recent candidate Gary Johnson couldn't even get freedom of association right.

He's a "libertarian" who can't say "the government shouldn't force a private business into unwanted associations." What use is he? What use is the party who nominated him?

I used to be a libertarian but they are too weak and rely to much on the courts to fix things government actually should, like protecting the environment.
