Having standards is not being "dumbed down". Women are not objects, but they can be treated as such. That was not the intent of that poster and I am well aware of it. The artist didn't draw it with any objectifying intent as would say, a hardcore pinup.

What you fail to understand, evidently, is that your standards and my understanding of this particular image simply cannot be guaranteed to be shared by ever other user here. Since I know that children are on this site, and I know that parents by and large don't want children to see anything that could spark curiosity regarding pornography, I'm censoring it out of basic decency and respect for others' views.

If you really need it spelled out, it's because this post is not marked NSFW, is clearly geared towards younger users, and therefore is not the place for content that could be easily considered pornographic by conscientious parents who wouldn't want their child seeing such things.

False. Censorship has a perfectly legitimate place in society. Now, if everything is censored and filtered by a totalitarian entity that wants to control us, then that is one thing. However, this is not one of those situations. Again, based off the intellectual maturity you've shown in your previous replies I don't expect you to understand this, but we have differing standards for different places. Show a little respect for the stream's rules, namely that NSFW content be marked as such in places where young users could frequent, and quit being such a drama queen.

Again, I don't have a problem with you wanting the photo to be seen in general. I have an issue with you wanting it to be seen despite my clear and reasonable reasons for censoring it. Namely, that you are inserting yourself into an area, youth perception and misinterpretation of sexuality, that should strictly be left to parents. This stream markets itself towards users of all ages, therefore it has to meet a reasonably low common denominator. Keeping upper body nudity out, though relatively inconsequential in most situations and completely irrelevant in the context of the photo, is indeed a reasonable request.

Montana Code Annotated, the legal code for my state, defines sexual intercourse and the various intimate body parts involved. There's your legal source. There is no need to define what each individual organ is in law because science has done so. All that needs be done is refer to aforementioned and commonly accepted scientific definition and then define how they are relevant to the law.

LOL, you're delusional!! Do you honestly think that the U.S will ever violate its most basic tenants and embrace such a radical concept as forcing people how to dress?? That's for radically Muslim places, not the free Western world. It will never happen. Heck, I'm not even sure what you mean when you use religion as a blanket term, because various creeds have radically different views of the subject. I am Catholic, for example, and we have no problem with nude art or statues so long as they're not explicitly pornographic or anything. I'm not sure to what degree you are interested in art, but plenty of Catholic art and other depictions of figures incorporate nudity. Now, this would be horrifying to say, a Baptist, but that brings me to my next point: Few Western countries, and especially not the U.S, meld religion and government. Therefore no single religious entity could obtain power and mold societal standards to its will, especially in this age of individuality and empowerment of expression.

Your fears are extremely exaggerated and hopelessly unfounded. Your view is your own and I wouldn't dream of suppressing you, but frankly I find your willingness to casually dismiss the notion that others have self-determined standards of decency disturbing.
