I've sat through enough court to know I'd never have a jury trial no matter what. People mean well and they even try to take it seriously and do the right thing, for the most part, but they don't get all the information and they don't know the law. Judges can at least see the law and they know all the information even if they're not supposed to use some of it. There's no such thing as a fair trial.

But I think it should have been a mistrial when the juror did the Arsenio Hall armpump at the verdict, although I don't know if they could do anything at that point, but that's the system there is so I have to respect the judgement. If your client is guilty it becomes all about creating the illusion of doubt. That's all. If they can get you to think, "Well anything is possible" they've won. OJ was found responsible for their deaths in the civil trial. So, did the evidence in his criminal trial prove reasonable doubt? No, but it did create the illusion of reasonable doubt. That's all it took. OJ Simpson definitely almost decapitated his ex-wife and Ron and he is a free man. Why? His lawyers knew how to create the illusion of doubt.
