Nah, cancel culture goes a step further from not buying their product, they also spend weeks calling the person or company racist and often nazi.

Cancel culture, regardless of what you said, is. Basically boycotting or protesting a person or organization so the protested/boycotted is adversely effected (like harming their business or losing their job) and/or practically eliminated from public view (muting them from being seen and/or heard - closing down their social media accounts for instance or not booking them to appear for interviews etc)

This is not a one way street. It’s done by the left and the right.

I would say that definition more fits just a boycott, whereas cancel culture takes on moblike tactics, even including threats on many occasions. My only point is that I don’t believe most right wingers boycotting Coca cola or goodyear have slandered them on such a scale.

I have, and I have seen exactly 3 total memes about coca cola. I have seen tons of humorous exaggerations, standard meme stuff. Nowhere have I seen straight up lies from legit news sources like the way they lied about Carano.
