You're hard to follow. So now you're saying that nothing could teach you to respect yourself and others, and that military service would teach you how to kill Syrian kids, right?
Well, whether you like it or not, the military's job is to destroy things and kill people. So if you were in the military, they would teach you how to kill people. By any decent standard the military would not intentionally kill Syrian kids, or any kids.
But for those two things to be your only stated takeaways (and of course, you're only going to agree that the latter of the two is your takeaway) indicates to me that you have zero objectivity. I suppose you would do away with the US military, right?
