Truman's desegregation of the Armed Forces, and the Federal Workplace in 1948, coupled with his support of the Civil Rights Movement, drove racists away from the Democratic Party, and ultimately to the Republicans. It was similar to the way Black Lives Matter energized the many racists that now dominate that party's politics. And, you cannot have equity if you are denied equality.

I am surprised at you...I would have thought you would have made a meme about him being a mass murderer for dropping the Atomic bomb on all those poor yellow peoples in Japan.

The use of the Atomic Bomb saved as many as a million American lives. Anyone who seriously studied the Island to island warfare of the Pacific Campaign would tell you so. No apologies. The people killed at the beginning, middle, and end of the war were just as dead, no matter the method of their demise.
