Octavia, there's a little more to it than this, but basically Texas saw this coming weeks in advance. They applied for DOE permission for 4 gigawatts of extra power - essentially a waiver for non-green energy. Some Obama-era hack said no and dialed them back instead. The legal ramifications of the bureaucracy's regulations was, the TX power authorities would be IMPRISONED if they saved people's lives and homes and jobs and water by turning on the coal plants (which required a week or two of lead time anyway, but they were trying) and temporarily put out the extra CO2.

It's clear enough to anyone with an above-50 IQ that normal, non-sociopaths would have granted the temporary waiver. I guarantee you, if it had been New York instead, they would have done it in a day. They did not.

Not hard to figure out.

So yes, Joe and the Dems have the same blood on their hands they tried to pin on Trump. Oh wait, except the WHO said the covid lockdowns cost something like 130 MILLION lives in various starvation effects alone.

So let's be clear on net lives if we can please.
